Default Taking it out first time this year

Hello! My husband and I are new to the camping site and new to the RV/FUN Finder world. We inherited my father's 2005 fun finder 189 FBR last year. Unfortunately, we have no idea where the manuals are or what we are doing as far as getting it ready for a new season. A neighbor helped us winterize it, but what do we do now? We are planning on taking it camping this weekend. Any ideas, suggestions, and thoughts would be life savers!!!

Thanks!

Hi, and welcome. Being in Arizona I use mine year round & don't winterize so I'm not much help here. But here's a link to a site with tons of good info that may help.

http://rvbasics.com/techtips/De-Wint...g_Your_RV.html

I'm sure others with more experience will chime in.

Default first time

Welcome to the site
It would help if people would say where they are from.
I have a fun finder 189 X that is a 2007,but made in July 2006 so is probably similiar to yours.

1. Grease the wheel bearings, easy to do with the zerk fittings
2. Get rid of the tv and get a flat screen
3. Tighten every connection around water tank.
4. Replace vent cover.
5. check tires for dry rot
6. check out thermostat, mine was defective, once it turned on it would not turn off unless I pulled fuse.
7. You will probably need new battery.

Hope this helps
