Default Toyhauler XT200 Extra

Does anyone know the rated ramp weight for this model. I know it handles motorcycles and ATVs no problem. Would it handle a small car?

appreciate any info.

I'm not positive but IIRC the ramp weight rating on my XT 276 is either 1,500 or 2,000 pounds ... and would think your 200 has the same ramp.

Thanks Eagle, I was guessing around that weight. Too light for a small car. Better to be safe.

I would agree. A golf cart or ATV weights under 700 pounds (average) while a full dress Harley weights about 900 pounds and a Harley Tri Glide (3 wheeler) weights in about 1,230 pounds...and these can be loaded into the garage. I doubt the ramp could sustain much more than a 1,500 pound load.

One must also consider the 'load capacity' of the frame behind the axles and 'offset' that weight impacts tongue weight for safe towing.

We've got a 2008 XT200, and there's a sticker that declares a 3,000-pound weight limit with no more than 1,000 pounds at any one point. If you're approaching 3,000 pounds, be sure that you don't exceed the gwvr, or the tongue weight on your hitch, either
