Default World's smallest apartment?

Well, I finally finished up my move. I ditched my old apartment in favor of living in my 189FBR for the foreseeable future. The plan is to plunk the rent into savings for the next year or so, and once I've got a nice little nest egg, look around at real estate and see what the market is up to then.

I've got a parking spot at the rear of a friend's business, and have electrical hookup.

My previous apartment has been emptied (I hate moving), and the things I wanted to keep have been placed in a storage unit.

The biggest challenge so far was deciding what to keep, and how to store it. I pretty much set up the trailer with everything I needed over the summer, and have just added a few things, like a Playstation 3, a nicer comforter for the bed, and storing a few toys in the trailer.

Should be an adventure.

Sounds like you are setup for comfort. Good Luck

Jim and I just purchased a used 2006 FF X189 FBR. I think we will be happy with it. We upgrade from the FF X139.

My daughter has just returned to the nest and I keep telling her she should move into our 189FDS, it is bigger than the studio apt she just left.

WOW! Where do you live that you can live in your trailer in January?

We are currently experiencing -30 degrees C plus a wind chill bringing it to -40 something with blowing snow and 4" expected in the next 24 hours. We've been told to not even go in our trailers as in this cold it will crack the flooring.

What an amazing planet we live on! LOL

Southern California. Yeah, I'm wearing shorts today.

I use a small floor heater in the "apartment", and it's been working well.

I love it! I have the same idea, only I'm stuck in an apartment lease until Sept. I plan on getting rid of virtually everything and living in a 139 or Casita, if I can find one.
Are you paying for a spot for your 189?

So far it's rent-free, at a friend's business.

I've got a hook-up for electricity, but not for water or sewer. So far, I've had to hook up about once a month to dump tanks and refill water.
