Last camping trip of the year.
Haven't had the FF out much this year, so this trip should make up for the lack of use earlier. Planning on go up to Copper Harbor in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Should be a 10 to 13 day trip, staying at state parks along the way. Maybe this time we will actually see some leaf's turning.

Should be a good trip, our FF sits on a seasonal site on the west side of Michigan near Saugatuck. Leaves are turning there so should have a better show in the UP.

I’ve camped in the MI UP many times in the past but never with our x210 FF. Copper Harbor area is very scenic and might try to go there next year. It’s a bit of a haul from where we live in western Wisconsin. It’s a bit off a haul from southern Michigan too! I’ve talked with LP Michigan folks (B-I-L, his family and others) that say traveling to the UP from the LP is like going to a foreign country! Landscape and people not so different when crossing from northern Wisconsin into UP MI. Always kinda wondered why the UP is part of Michigan and not Wisconsin? Anyway, hope your last trip of the season was a good one.

I heard it was a trade-off Ohio got Toledo we got the UP. A good deal in my opinion. My spouse graduated from NMU in Marquette so not totally a foreign country.

Been out camping for 12 day, driven over 900 miles and visited three Michigan State Parks and a national campground. Tomorrow we will drive back home to Kalamazoo. Attached is a picture of sunset over Lake Superior.

Well this weekend it’s drain the tanks, blowing out the lines, followed by red pop, than pull down the deck canopy, cover it up and say goodbye until April. Sad to see the season end but glad to see the season end. Got lots to do on our home, it’s been neglected all summer.

Shelley, the fact that you have neglected your home is a good sign -- you've been having fun camping, rather than doing chores!
I'm in exactly the same situation -- now it's time to tackle that honeydew list. ("Honey do this, honey do that.").

I want to do one more trip this season. Next week is good for me but wife has other obligations. After next week the calendar is booked with other stuff. May just have to go it alone. At the very least it will allow for an “end of season” trip to a dump station. Mid-week camping in mid-October usually allows for quiet, unbusy campgrounds but with unseasonably warm weather it’s hard to say for sure.
I too, have home projects that have been piling up. The constant “tug-of-war” between want to do, should do and must do is a never ending source of unwanted anxiety and many times ends up with nothing being done at all!

For us, we need to start getting ready for our snowbird flight to Florida. So I need to wash off the trailer, clean out the inside, winterize it, and cover it within the next two weeks.
