North Carolina to Newfoundland 2018
We're enjoying a cool (47 degree) rainy day in Rocky Harbour, Newfoundland so I thought I would let you know about our trip in our 2015 210UDS. Not to worry about the weather cause we're consoling ourselves with fresh caught lobster right off the dock for dinner.
We left coastal N.C on 6/6 and drove to Portland, ME where we caught the Fast Cat boat to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Five days in NS and then on to Newfoundland via the ferry from North Sydney to Port Aux Basque, Newfoundland. We're here for 21 days, hoping to see some Icebergs, the 1000AD Viking settlement, two national parks and then St. Johns, the oldest city in North America.
Taking the ferry back to Nova Scotia from Argentia, NL (which is a 16 hour run) and hitting Bay of Fundy on the way south back to Emerald Isle, NC.
Enjoy your travels...we always do!
