Planning next trip!
So, our camping season is over for 2017, but it doesn't mean I can't start planning for 2018! So, looking at Colorado front range as a possible destination! Any campground suggestion? Remember that we only do full hookups and pull thrus! Thanks in advance!

Come to Michigan. Beautiful Great Lakes, amazing places to camp, no fires or floods or hurricanes. Moderate temperatures. Great activities: hiking, kayaking, bicycling, wildlife, nature, fun cities, vineyards, golfing, swimming, waterfalls, terrain, clear rivers, etc.
Just a suggestion.

Sounds wonderful, but we also have to consider how long it takes to and from as well as how long we can stay and enjoy/explore. If we were both retired, it wouldn't be such an issue, but alas that is a few years down the road...

Where are you in Kansas?
Understand. Our biggest roadblock is our three cats at home and $$$ even though we are retired. We are 14 hours from Salinas Kansas and it's not very scenic until you get to the west coast of Michigan on that trip.

We are an hour and half east of Salina.
Yes I agree scenery is pretty"blah" around Salina, our part is much better with rolling hills (Flint Hills area) and Tuttle Creek Lake 15 minutes from our house. Not sure if Michigan will be in our plans for awhile.....

Just put the cover on"Sally", today, so she's ready for her long winter's nap! Have only heard from Michigan about next trip...anyone have any ideas? Looking for trip to front range in Colorado, full hookups, pull thrus and somewhat in wilderness, yet close to civilization! Thanks in advance!

You must be very busy. It's only September 10. Our last trip is scheduled for October 24th. But I know that being retired makes it easier. Leave for the UP trip tomorrow. Back on the 21st. Hate to leave the cats for that long though. But we have someone coming in twice a day for them.

Yes, with school having started (DH is teacher), and my job, makes it harder to get away. Counting the years (for now) until retirement and being able to go when we want, but that's a ways down the road...for now, just use spare time to plan future trips. DH put on the cover today, and "Sally" looks like an elephant! LOL!

Good that you are covering her. We had our little FF in a storage barn last year and it worked great. But you pay by the foot. Not sure what we will do this year. The people we bought it from had tubes wrapping on the top of it. They gave it to us to use again but not sure if that would work again. Or maybe we could pay them to do it again? They aren't s company, just folks like us who bought the equipment.
