How do I start a new thread? I am traveling right now and an unusual situation came up where the fresh water tank filled when I had the hose connected to the city water inlet connection. I only noticed because a little of this water was spilling out of the inlet where you would normally put the hose to fill the water tank. Could there be some kind kind of back flow device that may have failed? Or possibly too much water pressure? If it is a back flow device, where would it be. Ihave a 2011 189 FBS.

For the life if me I can never find where to start a new post. I don’t see a new post or new message button and somewhere on here it says I may need permission. Permission from who? I wish this forum was easier to use.

    Caroline,
Sorry for the delay I just saw you message about running the AC on a small generator. Try this link: Go to RVlife.com and look for air-conditioner-2200-watts .
There are also several brands of soft start kits available that you can install on the AC unit which allows it to take less current when it starts. They are all somewhat expensive but some are cheaper than others. You might also pay attention to the user comments.
    Good luck!

I really wanted to read the article on how to start your air conditioner on a 2200 watt generator, but each time I download it, all I get is the title.
