Front Cap delamination
I decided to replace the front cap myself and here are some of the photos of work in process
Front cap painted over aluminum and trim applied. Finished.....
Aluminum applied over Luan, seam at point over window framing so leaving option to delete or reinstall window at later date.
Luan attached to framing after insulation and wiring, cutout for front window (I should have waited to cut out window, still haven't decided to...
Insulation installed with dimensions for attaching exterior underlayment/luan
Masking tape showing where framing is for attaching exterior underlayment/luan
After framing replaced, notice the water stains on interior skin still showing, not replaced.
