Your incoming water pressure may drop when you install the filter. Ours was reduced to the extent that there was not enough pressure to have a shower. We now buy water for drinking.

This is a handy little switch, but I think prone to problems. On mine, I had trouble activating the switch. Turns out the fuse at the battery was shorting out. They replaced it with a breaker.
