12 V disconnect switch

Up in the front storage compartment is a 12 v disconnect switch ... a plunger.

I am trying to get confirmation. Factory says .. Switch pushed in disconnects battery from draining.

My new battery goes dead in this position. It may be something else.

I need to know if disconnect is IN .. or OUT, please.

On my 2009 210 WBS disconnected is IN. Other models/years could be different though.

Ditto on the 2008 210WBS... I had to build a "shield" to keep stuff sliding around in the storage bay from disconnecting the battery while traveling.
What are the circumstances of the battery going dead; i.e., how do are using the disconnect switch? It shoud only be in the disconnect position when you are storing the trailer for a lengthy period of time with no shore power.

We had owned our trailer only 2 weeks and found ourselves dry camping in the rain. Battery was dead. I started the truck and plugged the trailer plug in so it would charge up and we could use the heat and lights. After about an hour it occured to me to check that wonderful battery disconnect switch. Guess what, it had gotten bumped and was turned off. I have since removed the switch altogether.

Disconnect

The off position is pushed in and the on position is pulled out.

To clarify, the switch disconnects the battery from the trailer to prevent leaching of power from the battery to things like the LP leak detector and the back light on the radio. It does not prevent the battery from going dead all together. Left sitting long enough without being recharged, batteries will lose their charge normally.
