do you dry camp at all? if not. i would not replace with the gas furnace. the thing is way too noisy for me. i have one similar to this when electric is available. https://www.amazon.com/Cadet-Com-Pa...ateway&sprefix=1500+watt+wall+,aps,225&sr=8-4

i use the propane when no electric is available. The noise drives me crazy and the blower can drain a battery quick.

we only dry camp.have a lake lot for 40 yrs. no water.power or sewer dump. been using a big old motor home with 6 2500 amp 6 volt batteries. we can sit for 2 weeks w/o starting a generator. has a 40 watt solar panel on roof. but like to tour up north with the 139 now. dont like driving that big old diesal on highway. wanders to bad in winds for me, and scares the wife.

the dealer i bought this from cant get any parts and doesnt seem to want to even try. i need a outside shower cabinet door or whole thing. need the furnace vent cover on outside. and 2 stabilizer jacks for the back . wheres a good place to get these please.

There may be RV salvage yards nearby -- many of the components used by the manufacturers are stock items that do not vary much from one model to the next.

You can also bolt on scissor jacks. Camping World carries them.

thanks team dogerty , i ordered one.

now what about the hole on outside where the original furnace vented. need a nice plastic cover

Looks exactly like mine and our furnace is an Attwood on our 2002 T139. I found a replacement online that's the whole intake kit. Haven't been able to find just the exterior plate. If you're not trying to use the furnace a plastic cover would. Our exterior shower was scary when we opened the hatch so we replaced the whole thing with an exterior RV shower from Amazon (about $40), took a whole 10 minutes to remove, hookup, and reseal. Now it works like a charm and looks great too.

ok I got one of those cadet heaters..buts theres no 110 volt wires under there where the furnace was.. furnace motor is 12 volt. have a electrician friend come over today and run some wires.

i put a new 1000 watt wall heater in the hole from Furnance. and have a friend wants to buy the trailer. we tryed sleeping in it. way to awkward to get out in middle of night

ken, the awkwardness of the 139 bed depends on who you are sharing it with! My wife and I have no trouble at all -- I climb over her, and she pretends to be asleep.

If there were two people in the bed who were not very, very close friends, I can imagine that it would be terribly awkward.

we get out at least 3 times a night to go P. and then if one cant sleep. theres no table to sit at to read or watch tv?once u travel in a 34 ft motorhome..hard to use this small one.
