Hi there,
We are considering a used 160fs trailer. We have seen it on line, & are considering a trip to see it in person.
It looks like it is in beautiful condition - basically like new.
We would like to hear from anyone who has experience with this model.
How is the bed?
Is there enough room to add a couple of folding chairs?
How is the storage?
Thank you very much!

Just read your post & wanted to let you know we LOVE our 160FS..
It is small but adequate for two..Great storage, the hutch is a plus
(can't understand why they discontinued this model & kept the 160W:cool:.
Sufficient room to walk along-side the bed to access storage, find
sliding out the bottom of the bed easier when getting up at night..
Hope by now you got yours or were not discouraged.

We picked up our fun finder yesterday, & drove it home.
We love it so far - tows like a dream.
It has the room we wanted, & storage is great!
Thanks!

(we drove 500 miles to get it!)

Hi - I have been considering the FF 160FS. One question: hubby always sleeps later than I do....Is there room (with the bed down) for another person (moi) to sit (besides the toilet  ) when the bed is down? (assuming I don't want to or can't go outside)

Edited to add: oops - sorry for hijacking this thread

We have 2 folding chairs to carry in the trailer - upholstered ones - pretty comfortable. There is not a lot of room, but I think it works.

Thanks - I'll have to look for some - any brand/source in particular?

One other question about the 160FS fireplace: Is it basically a heater, or can it be illuminated just for "ambience" (without the heat)?

FF160 Fireplace

Couldn't answer your question until I tried our's out last weekend..
yes you can use "flame effect" without the heat..Have read that this
type of effect is created with a light bulb so in the interest of preserving
it, we turn it off during the night while heating with the fireplace.. In such
a small area the thermostat cycles pretty frequently making a lot of noise
but the heat strip in the air conditioner is worse. Mild inconvenience
tolerated to spare the propane..

Update

Update -
We took our FF160FS on a month-long 5,000 mile trip last year, and found it to be excellent! We use the fireplace for heat - it's perfect - have never turned on the furnace.
We are about to take another 5,000 mile trip this year. We will add the barbecue that hangs on the rail, for the convenience of cooking outside.
