50 amp or 30 amp for 244 rbs?

Hi! New to travel trailers and now attempting to survive a NH winter in a 2011 FF X 244rbs. While using the microwave and a small space heater to blow warm air into areas holding pipes, hoses, etc. (after a night without water because it froze solid) my power went out. The "breaker" tripped from using those two appliances at the same time. It could also be that my water heater was on. My hookups include 2 options for power--a 30 AMP socket and a 50 AMP. I know nothing about these things, but would plugging into the 50 AMP socket give me more power and prevent the breaker switch tripping? Thanks!

Does you camper have a 50 amp plug? If not. then no.

If you have a 30 amp cord, it will not plug into a 50 amp power outlet.
The ends of the cord for a 30 amp are are totally different than a 50 amp...as are the outlets.

Assuming your trailer only has a 30 A service panel, you would end up with no more total current available if you bought an adapter and connected to a 50 Amp socket. The 30 Amp circuit is limited by the mains breaker on your panel in the trailer. I hope this helps.
