Adding a baggage door

I intend to add a baggage door to the lower right rear exterior of my FF where I want to place my Honda 2000 generator. I have determined that there is sufficient unused space there (closet) where I can build a sealed steel box to prevent gasoline fumes from entering the cabin. Of course I will not run the generator in this location -- this is only for convenient storage -- and I will vent the compartment. I have identified the door manufacturer that supplied Cruiser with baggage doors for my 2012 model, however, I don't think I can order directly from them ( http://challengerdoor.com/?page_id=347).

What advice do you all have for obtaining such a door and frame, preferably one that matches my others? I will do the installation myself.

I have been considering installing a door in my 210UDS in the slide out to access the space under the dinette bench. Makes it easier to add remove things/don't have to lift up the cushions, etc.

The order form is pretty specific with regards to desired dimensions. I just haven't prioritized it high enough to start that project yet.

Honda 2000 Generator

You mentioned you have a Honda 2000 Generator. Do you have the Honda EU200i & the EU2001 Companion? I am considering getting them as power back up. Any suggestions? How does it work for you?

That is what I have ... the two Honda EU's and the cables to connect them together. They run very quiet and are easy to start. So far, I haven't used them camping as always had power available.
