Adding batteries to tongue of 2003 189fbd

Hey guys quick question. I came across 2 free 27 series deep cycle batteries. Im looking to mount them on the trailer tongue, behind my propane tank, and in between the frame. Has anybody done this to a 189fbd before? Making a battery frame/mount is the easy part but my camper is an hour away and I just ned to know if they will fit. Also due to my rebuild it has left my tongue weight really light. Im decently strong but it doesn't take much effort for me to lift the tongue off the ground. If I had to guess what the tongue weight is I would say definitely under but close to 150lbs. So a little extra weight on the front I don't think will be an issue.

I have two 6v 240amp batteries mounted in that position total wt is about 130 lbs. Looked at the 12v but 6v golf cart bats give better long term performance. Have had zero issues with tongue wt.

I was looking into golf cart batteries for a future mod but I got these for free now so I'm trying to make them work.

be sure they are matched, the system will go to the lowest performance battery causing a serious drain on the strongest battery

I would have 2 27 series and 1 24 series battery. My plan is to make the 27's the primary battery and make the 24 like a back up. Plan on putting in switches to toggle between the 2 sets of batteries.

For what it's worth I replaced a 24 battery with a 31 at the beginning of this season and the 31 barely fit on my 06 189. I don't think I could have fit any larger a box. Maybe width wise I'd have another inch, but length was very tight between my WD hitch brackets (though I could probably cut those bolts shorter if I needed.

I kept the 24 to swap out if the other died, but we did 8 nights in Montana with no power this year and it just dropped to 1/3 the day before we were leaving.

4 Deep Cycle RV batteries

For what it's worth, I have a 210-UDS. I mounted an expanded metal frame just behind the propane tanks. I have 4-deep cycle RV batteries in a weather proof box that support my setup.

I finally got down to measure and it's going to be pretty tight fitting just 2 27 series batteries. I really need to get down there with the battery boxes to see what configuration that I can try. Any body with a 189fbd or fd have picks of the tongue with batteries?
