adding cabinets to T-139

Since my T-139 has no bunk anymore, I've wondered about adding more cabinets to the front of the kitchen cabinets. I've looked and looked online for anything like that, but...it's a desert out there and I haven't found the oasis.

Any ideas?

I've seen some pretty nice DIY cabinet installs. If you're DIY challenged a cabinet shop would probably be your best bet.
Storage is always in short supply with the 139's. Our FK model had the fresh water tank in the rear curbside under the bed. Since we never boondock (at least we haven't yet) we removed the tank and added an outside access door for more storage. I can always put the tank back in later. Towing with a full size van really cures a lot of storage headaches.

That area is where most 139's have the entry door. Our entry is to the front.

Thank you for pointing me to a link that provides some hope! My floor plan has the vanity in the back, too - what a waste of space! So that would be a nice thing to change.

My floor plan has the kitchen on the side, table/bed in the front, and it originally had a bunk above that, but it was taken out before I bought it. So there's just "space" to the front of the kitchen cupboards. I'd sure like to find a way to change that!

Alan, thank you, too, for responding. Our floor plans are different, but your idea of repurposing the water tank is an interesting one!

No forgiveness needed, Dan. I am thankful that you watch out for us newbies and try to steer us in the right direction.
