Awning over rear ramp

Hi, I have a 09 xt245 toy hauler. I have a awning that goes above the back ramp. I can kind of figure out how it installs but not 100%. Anyone have directions or just a quick couple of pointers? I know there has to be a easier way then I am trying. I am sure it's the same on other toy haulers also. Thanks in advance Bob

Hi Bob--

I have the same XT245 and have avoided installing an awning over the ramp because I didn't want to block the loading lights. Did you find a product that mounts above the lights?

No this mounts below, that would be awesome if it was above it. I am guessing this comes with it? On a side note I just found the cables to make the ramp a patio, I love it!

I've never seen a factory awning for the back.

FWIW, my cargo trailers have cables for the ramps (rather than the spring hinges on the Funfinder) and I've found them to be trip hazards. I use stands under the ramp to hold it level so it is "open" all the way around. I also painted the surface white--it's harder to clean but a whole lot cooler in the summer sun!
