Bathroom Vent alert

We own a FF 189FBS. Fellow owners will know that elimination of condensation in the BR is essential due to no window and small size of BR. We were very careful to use our BR vent after showering because of the foregoing. My wife happened to notice what appeared to be a sliding handle on this ceiling vent. When she pulled on it, the vent opened. We had been using the vent for quite some time with it closed. We were not told about the necessity to open this vent prior to using when introduced to our new trailer. There may be other FF models out there that use this same vent.

BR Vent

Correction on data. When the vent handle is DOWN, it is in the closed position. One must push the handle UP toward the ceiling to place it in the open position to allow moisture to escape.
