Battery Breaker Box

I have a 2015 Fun Finder 210UDS. Love it. I recently experienced no power when using my battery. It's only 6 mos old, I keep it in my garage hooked up to a charging station and only put it in the trailer when heading out. I checked the fuses, and just to be certain, I replaced the fuse on the positive line running to the battery and in the fuse box for the Control Panel. Local RV repair shop says it's likely the breaker box for the Control Panel, and the BB should be located along the lines from the battery and on the frame.

Following the lines from the battery along the frame, there is no BB on the outside. Where the lines go under the stone shield, I removed that portion of the shield only to find the lines buried in some spray foam insulation. Is the breaker box located somewhere else in/on the trailer? I can't see anything behind the control panel (which is a mess of wires behind the drawers under the sink.

Ideas?

Thanks!

I have a FunFinder 210uds also. Not familiar with a breaker box. Didn't know there was one! Could it be that your battery disconnect switch is malfunctioning? I'd check that out first.

I didn't know it had one either, but the tech seems to think so.
That said, I was considering it could simply be the disconnect switch. Is that a common part to replace? Thanks!

I don't know if it's a common failure. I'd pull it and connect the wires to it directly and see if that works. In other words bypass the switch.

Did you find the problem Bo? Never heard of a Breaker Box on the battery feed. Double check the negative/ground side for a good connection.
Give me a holler if I can help. I live just out the road in Hickory Flat.

Hey Alan,

Sorry for the late reply. I was in Hobbs, NM for two weeks w/Habitat, and the last few days ended up frozen like a popsicle due to the storm! I'm finally making my way back to GA! I tested the switch, and it's functioning properly. I need to double-check the fuses (though I did replace the one for the control panel). Got any ideas on what else to check?

I assume you have DC power when on shore power. Just no battery juice.
I would check the negative connection from the battery to the control panel/converter.
Disconnect/isolate the positive battery cable, connect to shore power, close the battery disconnect and check the converter DC power from the neg battery post to the disconnected battery cable. That would test your negative battery wiring. Be careful not to short the positive cable. If there's no power there then the neg side is open somewhere.
