I'd like to mount a TP holder and a towel bar in my XT276

Since the studs (?) are metal or the framework is metal, what is the best way to go about this. It seems the 'walls' are just thin paneling so I know they won't hold squat.

Any suggestions please. :?:

They sell one that attaches with 3m stick on. I've yet to mount one as I am concerned about that wall not holding it securely.

We just went with the simple screws in our new 210UDS. Not planning on doing any pull-ups with them. I'm guessing it will be about as secure as putting them into sheetrock, we'll see.
Now-if I were mounting something heavy that would be moved and repositioned, like a TV - that would be different.

I did a web search and found this DIY video that shows how to mount to the walls in an RV with pop rivets.

It will work for some items.

Pop Rivet Gun

Thanks. This is a great idea. I am heading to Home Depot to pick one up. Man, I was wondering how to do this.

Pop Rivets

I watched that video and it is an awesome idea. I am on my way to Home Depot. Good rivet gun at about $23 and the 5/32 rivets at $5-10. Wow. Thanks for the input.

Thats a GR* idea

I just installed a foldable shelf on my fridge wall above the bed for a laptop and as a step for the cat to get to the top bunk to avoid the dog eating her food.I use the top bunk for storage .
I screwed in the hinge part on the horizontal beam(nice and sturdy)
The suport brace comes in a couple inches lower and is not suported.
I used a drywall ancor and used a 3 inch piece of a paint sturrer 3 M taped it on the wall and srewed thru to mount.( seams nice and sturdy)

The rivit way probobly would have been a better way.
I have one and a assortment of rivit sizes.

Harbor freight has guns/rivits cheap .
I rivit my dogs tags to his collar to avoid black stains on his fur
and that dam jingling
