Black Tank Sensor

Have a 2018 21RB. After I drain the black water tank and flush it all very well with a hose, it reads empty. After one day at the campground and only using the toilet to pee in maybe 6 times, the sensor shows full. Then I dump and flush it out and it shows empty. Is this typical of a bad sensor and if so, how hard are they to change out? I have the climate package so it has the think hard insulation blanket on the under carriage. Thanks all!

Oh and I did use the cleaning solution called CleanIt and let it sit in there for about 4 days and after that it showed empty so I thought I had it fixed but that didn't work either.

Black tank sensors are notorious for erroneous readings. Besides the obvious, paper and other debris sticking to the sensors, they can rot/corrode/break.

Quite honestly, I don't know too many RVers that rely on the panel readouts for a black water tank. Grey tanks maybe.
Looking down through your toilet with a flashlight is probably the only true way to tell!
