Hello anyone I recently purchased a fun finder from a couple few months back. They bought it to us from they place in Cadillac, mi. I installed a new light harness on our vehicle. And bought an adapter to convert the 4 flat to the round blade and it still it's working HELP PLEASE really want to start using it

Your local car mechanic may be able to figure this out for you. So could anyone who knows something about electricity. I don't, which is why I take it to my mechanic when something like this happens.

Someone who knows how to use a continuity meter could find out if there is a bad connection or if you are getting power to the harness.

My first question is did the tail lights and brake lights work when the seller dropped of the trailer? If so, the problem is probably your car setup. Have you towed anything before with your tow vehicle and did everything work then? There are checkers you can buy at harbor freight that will check a 4 pin setup. The adapter you bought should allow turn signals, running lights and brake lights. It will not provide power for electric brakes until you run additional wiring.
