Hello,

New to the group. Wife and I have purchased a 2013 Fun Finder F214WSD. I am currently getting ready to check the brakes and bearings an would like to know where can I find information on manufacturer and replacement part numbers if needed. I will most likely go ahead and replace them just for good measure.

Thanks,
Wiley

More than likely they were made by Liepert Industries. Unless the previous owners placed tons of miles and rode the brakes hard you may get away with just packing the wheel bearings. Our 2015 has buddy bearings which just requires removing the tires and rims and greasing. Let us know how you make out. Silverado

I have a 2015 214WSD also. It has ezlube system. You can grease by just removing center covers and using a grease gun without removing wheel. You need to jack wheel up and turn slowly while greasing.
If you do need parts go to etrailer.com. They carry all the parts needed, bearings, drum, brakes etc. Information on website or call customer help to get correct part numbers. I had to replace a brake magnet and drum due to defect. They were great.

I have a 2010 FF 215WSK. It has a sticker on passenger side above the forward axle, E-Z lube and Dexter axle. I would assume the drum brakes are Dexter. On a previously owned trailer I changed out the the brakes with Dexter self adjusting brakes from eTrailer for about $120 per axle. With their videos it makes us all experts! Hope you enjoy your FF as much as we have.

Chances are that both the brake shoes and bearings are fine. Pull off the drum and see what thickness is left on the shoes. If it 3/16 or more they should be good for several more years. As for the bearings, just repack them and see how they do on a trip. If the hubs don't get hot after towing for 50 miles, the bearings should be fine.
