Canada tell Americans NOT TO COME OR PASS THRU

Well, that's their right to do so, whether we agree with it or not. I am really looking forward to the day we can once again cross the border and visit the Canadian Rockies -- so spectacular.

A number of times, I've been within 100 feet to 1/2 mile to a few miles of the Canadian border but no desire to visit there ~ and that was before needed a passport to visit.

It looked the same as on this side of the border. However, to each their own.

Well, Eagle, the USA is pretty wonderful. But there are parts of Canada that are not exactly like anything in the US. This was taken from high atop Wilcox Pass, overlooking the Columbia Icefield -- that's DW with her hair standing on end in a 30 knot wind:

To take another example, this was the view from our campsite on a lake in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, not too far from Banff, on a morning in mid-September after a stormy night:

So I agree that seeing the USA is worthwhile, but Canada has a lot to offer, too.
