FunFinder X-210
We have just returned from our first three month winter trip as newbie snowbirds. Our 2008 FunFinder X-210 performed admirably.
We purchased this trailer at a price of $11,000 in 2011. Total negotiated cost including hitch installation and front window replacement was around $12,400. This trailer had 90% of what we wanted and with some upgrades was considered to be bought at a fair price for our area (Pacific Northwest).
This trailer has a gas oven and three-burner range with overhead microwave. The electrical system was only 30A (Amps) rating, but this is typical for small trailers This capacity is somewhat limiting in the appliances you can run simultaneously, but not overwhelmingly bothersome. I too am a fan of the walk-around queen and relatively roomy bath area.
I know this may be somewhat common sense, but one thing we did was to take this trailer on a break-me-in trip. It was only 40 miles down the road, but this made dealing with any breakdowns much easier. We thoroughly tested everything and then had the wheel bearings and electric brakes repacked and inspected. You won't be sorry!
