My husband and I are looking to buy our first travel trailer. We looked at a 2007 FF M-210. We want a smallish trailer, and we liked the layout--esp. the walk-around bed. However, I don't know a lot about Fun Finders, and I don't know if the asking price of $10,950 is reasonable. Also it has a convection microwave, rather than an oven, and I wondered if this works as well as an oven.

I would appreciate any comments or opinions on this trailer. Thanks so much!

We have the 2009 X-210 WBS which is similar, but has a slideout and an oven as well as microwave. The microwave I have isn't a convection style so I can't comment on how well that works. But, keep in mind that in order to use the microwave you will need to be plugged into 120V/30A AC shore power or else have a good size generator to connect to if you're dry camping, whereas the oven runs on gas so no AC power is needed.

I highly recommend the walkaround bed, you don't have to climb over each other for bathroom trips in the middle of the night.

As for price I would suggest checking NADA.com and do some internet searches for similar trailers to get an idea on pricing. Good luck!

Thanks for the information. I hadn't realized that about the microwave. That is definitely something to consider, as we enjoy camping at forest camps and such, where electricity will not be available.

And, yes, we definitely want a walk-around bed. So much easier!

Thanks again!

Susan

FunFinder X-210

We have just returned from our first three month winter trip as newbie snowbirds. Our 2008 FunFinder X-210 performed admirably.
We purchased this trailer at a price of $11,000 in 2011. Total negotiated cost including hitch installation and front window replacement was around $12,400. This trailer had 90% of what we wanted and with some upgrades was considered to be bought at a fair price for our area (Pacific Northwest).
This trailer has a gas oven and three-burner range with overhead microwave. The electrical system was only 30A (Amps) rating, but this is typical for small trailers This capacity is somewhat limiting in the appliances you can run simultaneously, but not overwhelmingly bothersome. I too am a fan of the walk-around queen and relatively roomy bath area.
I know this may be somewhat common sense, but one thing we did was to take this trailer on a break-me-in trip. It was only 40 miles down the road, but this made dealing with any breakdowns much easier. We thoroughly tested everything and then had the wheel bearings and electric brakes repacked and inspected. You won't be sorry!
