Early season camping is tough ....

We planned to make a 3 day camping trip over near Pelican Rapids, MN this coming weekend. Sadly, the Maplewood Park campground is already booked full. The private campgrounds close by are not open until May 1 to May 15 as is the city park campground in town.

I looked in a 3 state area and most campgrounds are not open until May 15th unless heading to the south about 200 miles and then there are a few.

Sure limits our options.
