What emergency warning measures do you carry if required to pull over to the side of the roadway due to a breakdown/flat tire or ??

I considered the standard truck type flares but they burn .. and could cause a fire in dry conditions. The reflector packages are OK but have a limited range of view for fast, night time drivers.

Therefore, I opted for these:

Also available elsewhere.

Although have never needed to use them, like carrying a spare tire - just in case.

(PS check the batteries from time to time. )

Those are pretty cool. I've actually been looking at them as a substitute for roadside flares (no, I don't carry any.) Also wonder how obnoxiously bright they'd be if you tossed one near the entrance to the camper at a campsite that's too dark? Kind of to light the path?
Out of habit I reviewed the reviews using the website fakespot.com and the reviews are graded D (meaning not so reliable) with only 58.1 being reliable. Just puts things in to prospective with so many competitors.

I purchased them at a Menards store (about $10 each) and come with a CR123A lithium battery guaranteed for 10 years. I've had them in the tow vehicle over 6 years summer & winter and the original battery is still good.

There are 8 or 9 different strobe functions and the LED lights can be seen up to a mile away and are really bright.

I don't think you want to set one near the entrance to the camper at a campsite unless you want to irritate your neighbors. ;-)
