Purchased new in February and have been out 6 times (trying for 1x/mo), have probably traveled 2,500 miles up and down CA. We have 3 kiddos (5, 3,1) who have really enjoyed the TT. Just dropped it off today for minor warranty work; fender skirt starting to come off, 2 rivets/screws lost; small bubble in lino, shower enclosure partially detached from wall; one awing speaker goes in/out; bathroom door lock not working (kids got stuck in bathroom twice). Everything else has worked beautifully so I consider these things minor and I could fix them myself but since we're still under warranty figured I'd let our dealer do it.
Favorite places have been Monterey, Lassen (Hat Creek) and Santa Cruz. Heading to Truckee for our first boondock over Labor Day. Haven't run it off a generator yet and am using a borrowed generator for Truckee, but am seriously considering the Champion 75537i 3100 Watt RV Ready Portable Inverter Generator with Wireless Remote Start. Also have planned trips to Calistoga and Lake Del Valle in Livermore for Nov/Dec.
TV is a 2005 Yukon XL 2WD, 5.3L and it works hard going up hills, does OK on flat ground. Installed a 40K aux trans cooler so temps stay fine, but lacks power up hills. Get about 8-10 MPG depending on wind.
