First trip in our Funfinder F214WSD at Lake Ray Roberts was a success! I think the only thing we didn't figure out was the dinette folding down to bed, there is a big gap where cushion doesn't cover. Two of the grandkids slept there so they were fine.
Water dripping from ac right over the stairs was interesting for awhile until I changed level slightly. Completely new to rv's so I'll probably be asking questions as I go. Next trip planned for May 13-15, don't want to pull far yet so probably another state park in North Texas. Anyway glad I found this funfinder forum!

Great to hear your first outing went well.

I too, always so the setup for A/C drainage is off a far corner from the entrance door and for me, from the rear toy hauler ramp door too so always set the left front corner a tad low for drainage.

Questions ~ ask away as lots of experienced folks here.

My first trial run was a whole 5 miles from my house, it worked out good because there were a couple of minor items I needed to get from the house during the trip. Later this month we are going out again, who knows maybe if I feel brave I will go twice as far...lol.

We picked up the trailer at dealership and went 7 miles to the park, funny the park host was on me in minutes when they saw the buyer license plate and knew we were rookies.

There's nothing wrong with being a rookie...especially when you get more experience. ;)

When I bought my first trailer, I hitched it up, and a couple days later, drove from California to Pennsylvania. It was a learn-as-you-go program. Fortunately, I didn't make too many mistakes along the way, and was cautious early on.

Now I'm still fairly cautious, but more relaxed. :)
