We purchased a 214WSD two weeks ago and have taken her out twice so far. Other than a few minor things (DC outlet above the television doesn't appear to have power; soft spot in shower) so far so good.
We are trying to make the most of the reasonable weather left before Colorado's winter hits - have plans for three more weekends out before the end of October. We got very lucky and happened upon Blue Spruce RV Park in the Durango, Colorado area last weekend (in case anyone is collecting recommendations for parks to visit). Tall trees, very peaceful and serene. We made reservations for a week next July!
Thank you to everyone on this forum for all the helpful information. We have learned a ton and will keep an eye out for even more tips. We started out with our Toyota 4Runner as a tow vehicle, and although she has done great - even in the Rockies - we will likely be upgrading before next season.
It would be great fun to meet up with some folks at some point. Colorado? Utah? New Mexico? Arizona? How about Asheville, NC? We plan to take a road trip there next year, maybe Memorial Day week.
