I have a 2014 Fun Finder and I noticed that water was running down the side of the camper. After taking a closer look I found that it did not have a gutter rail on the side with the awning only a flat rail holding the roof on, the other side does have a gutter. Condensation from the AC will run down the side and into the door making a mess when you open the door. The dealer is telling me that it does not come with a gutter, but the manufacture told me it did. After a few months at the dealer they are now telling me the manufacture was wrong and will be contacting me to apologize for giving me false information, I have not received a call. Does anyone own one of these campers that could verify this? I find this hard to believe, but I could be wrong.

A lot of manufacturers are not putting gutters on the awning areas (side) of their trailers. Saves them money and they reason that the awning will take care of rain, etc.

One trick I learned a lot of years ago concerning the A/C drainage is to make the trailer 1/2" low on the streetside and 1/2" high in the front when leveling up. Even 3/4" if that's as close as I can get. Those "unlevel" figures aren't enough to be noticeable inside and won't affect the refrigerator, but, it will cause the A/C condensate to drain off the streetside rear of the trailer...that's the most "unused" area around the trailer and a puddle back there is a non-issue. :)

You could try to install an aftermarket gutter, but, that just introduces more "leak" points along that whole edge and could be more trouble and potential damage than it would be worth.

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware that, good to know. I will have them reseal the rail and mybe install something over the door if nothing else works.
