Fun Finder X 16' 2006 window shade question

Just traded for this camper. Noticed couple of window shades/blinds, the strings were broken. Does this mean they are trash or is there a fix. This string seems to be used to lower the shades. Will have lots more questions as we go thru this unit!!! Oh, some of the decals are roached, can replacements be obtained?

We found a repair kit for that at our local RV dealer, so I think the kit is widely available.

You may not be interested, but I'm just throwing it out there. I replaced my blinds with simple curtains from some ultra-suede type fabric that I got on sale. I love the fact that I can open only the side that has the open window, they are washable, and block more light than the shades that came with my 189FBR.
