Last year while we were traveling through the Kootenay Mountains we stayed in some campsites that were a little shy on shade. The Skylight in the bathroom over the shower was letting a lot of solar heat in and heating up the trailer. So this year before we leave I have hopefully fixed the problen. First of all the Skylight is larger than the normal 16"x16" roof vents so a standard Camco roof vent insulation kit would not work. I proceeded to cut a piece of tin foil bubble wrap insulation 23'×23.5" to fit in the opening. Then to secure it and make it easy to remove I made 4 plastic turn tabs out of a clear plastic face sheild material and used the existing trim screws as I like a nice clean finished look with my projects .It should work like a charm. The first 2 photos are of the Skylight insulation and the last 2 are of a magnification mirror and "Towel Rack" I installed for my wife in the bathroom. I removed the vanity and was able to mount the base on the side of the cabinet securely.
