Last year while we were traveling through the Kootenay Mountains we stayed in some campsites that were a little shy on shade. The Skylight in the bathroom over the shower was letting a lot of solar heat in and heating up the trailer. So this year before we leave I have hopefully fixed the problen. First of all the Skylight is larger than the normal 16"x16" roof vents so a standard Camco roof vent insulation kit would not work. I proceeded to cut a piece of tin foil bubble wrap insulation 23'×23.5" to fit in the opening. Then to secure it and make it easy to remove I made 4 plastic turn tabs out of a clear plastic face sheild material and used the existing trim screws as I like a nice clean finished look with my projects .It should work like a charm. The first 2 photos are of the Skylight insulation and the last 2 are of a magnification mirror and "Towel Rack" I installed for my wife in the bathroom. I removed the vanity and was able to mount the base on the side of the cabinet securely.

Where did you get the mirror? My wife is too short for the existing mirror in the cabinet.
If you go near an IKEA they have those mirrors very cheaply, under $5 I think. They're nice, too. I installed one in my bath, but never used it so last remodel, I took it back out.

Your silver insulation should work great. I cut a piece of that blue (or pink) construction foam board to size and stick it up, it stays during long trips, hasn't fallen down yet :) Of course, we take it out when we shower :)
