Grab Bar installation question

We hoping to install grab bars on both sides of the shower in our 210WBS. One bar would be located on the back wall between the sink and shower and the other bar would be between the doorway and the shower. At least the back grab bars would also function as a towel bar.

We plan to mount one or both of the bars on 1x4 boards in order to hit multiple framing members.

I have read in previous posts that the aluminum framing is light and small.
Our question is how do you determine where the aluminum framing is located? Is the framing on 16 inch centers like a house? Does FunFinder have diagrams on the framing?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I sent you an email with the diagrams that I have for the 2008 210WBS framing (outside walls). I don't know if there is any provision on this forum for the posting of documents and if I "imaged" the files, they would be too small to be of any use... The interior wall is wood framed, as is the roof and parts of the floor (it is a "mix" of steel and wood) and only the outside walls are aluminum framed. A good stud finder will find the studs in either type of wall framing for more exact locating of mounting points.

Hope they help :)
