So, it was in the 20s this weekend, and while I had a 0 bag, it would have been nice if my propane heater worked. It worked during the Oct. 11 snowstorm--I'm not sure why it won't work now. The blower doesn't turn on and there's no heat, or even a hint of gas smell. I had plenty of propane...I don't need shore power, do I? I had a fully charged battery of course.

To make matters worse, I had turned on the hot water heater and got hot water early in the morning, but later on--it wouldn't turn on; I got the "reset" button light. So, I go outside and remove the panel, and hit the "reset" buttons several times to no avail. (Yes, buttons plural--the manual is useless and I did in fact see two soft rubber "buttons" over the reset mark.

Help! Thanks for any advice!

You don't need shore power to run the heater. There are a number of things that can keep the heater from working, but since both the heat and the hot water didn't work I'd suspect a propane issue. Faulty regulator maybe?
