Hello all. New to forum and in our sophomore year at RV'ing. We purchased a new 2007 X-240 last June. Love it. We are new to RV'ing but both did it when we were kids. Now it's our turn to share that experience with our children. WOW. Nothing bad to say about trailer. It's the perfect fit for our needs. Me being tall needed that extra space with full queen bed and bunk beds for two boys. Tons of storage space and especially like the "garage door" at back side. This allows easy access to store our bikes.
So far we've done 32 nights last year and are up to 12 this year. We are leaving Sunday for a 2 week stint on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, Canada - Tofino, etc. Can't wait.
We do a lot of "dryland" camping and can get 4-5 days out of our single battery - I just purchased a 15 watt solar panel and I just place it on roof while parked and it trickle charges the battery during the day. This next trip will really test it function.
The camping community or social aspect is what we enjoy the most... While parked at campsite, all the neighbours come over to admire our Fun Finder. It's like an ice breaker among fellow campers. Most conversations start off with a "WOW, what a sharp looking unit, who makes it" or "Nice unit, how much does it weigh... " Others must get the same start to a conversation...?
Anyhow, can't say enough about how happy we are with our Fun Finder
Cheers
