We have just downsized from a large fifth wheel to the Fun Finder 271K.

Hope this is a good unit. Have read a few reviews on the net, seems to be lots of negative comments about the units and the Manufacturer. These are maybe the usual comments from people that abuse the heck out of their property and then are astounded that it doesn't hold up ?????

Anyway, it appears to be good, and should serve our needs.

Welcome to the Club! Most of us are happy with our Fun Finders -- some folks have had quality control issues, as with any manufacturer. Where are you located?

Welcome aboard.

Lots of info here if you have questions.

BTW ~ very pleased with my FunFinder.

Can't wait to get it out of winter storage April 5-6th.

:)

Collin welcome!
We bought ours used and overall we like our little FunFinder very much. We had to look a long while to find one in the size we wanted.
We intend to maintain it, upgrade it and have fun with it.

Welcome to the Forum Collin,
Hope you like your new trailer; like most here, we like ours and have pulled it out of storage (The repair shop for a new roof) and am about 3 weeks out of taking it out for the first trip this year... I hope... :)

Central Alberta?? You are in Camping Heaven, as you already know. It takes us a week to drive to the Canadian Rockies, and we have done it three times. This summer will be the fourth. What's your favorite area?

Yes we have some fantastic camping areas here. The Rockies are great, but very busy and somewhat expensive. However, U.S. folks are getting a real bargain right now because our dollar is in the tank up against the US dollar.

I enjoy atving so tend to go to the Rocky Mountain House area, (Outwest RV Park) very off-road friendly, beautiful area, lots to do and see.

So come on up here and enjoy. Bring the US dollars....:p we like 'em

As far as a personal favorite in the Rockies, I prefer Jasper National Park, the Jasper Townsite and the Wapititi and Whistler Camp-grounds.

Banff is also a beautiful National Park, with great camping. The Banff town site is a little more commercial and tends to draw more European and Asian tourists. Which simply means that in the summer months, Banff can be very BUSY...
So, please visit Jasper, you will not be disappointed. Maybe consider locking up your camper for a couple of nights and stay and enjoy the Jasper Park Lodge, WOW.
