Hello to all was wondering about the first things I half to do while in the campground I need to level off the camper. How to I level it off with the drive on blocks and actually get it level. We are very new so we dnt know also when going to a site that has sewer hook up do I just leave my sewer hose connected to the camper.? And the drain and leave the valve open?
 
Welcome! For leveling, there are a number of good YouTube videos on that. As for the sewer hose, DO NOT leave the black tank valve open!! You should wait until the black tank is at least 3/4 full before dumping it to prevent solids from building up in the tank. Then dump the black tank first followed by the gray water tank to flush the nasties out of the hose. If your trailer has a black tank flush, I use that after the last dump before leaving the campground.

And - you don't have to be perfectly level. As long as its close enough that you don't notice it standng inside and you'll be fine.
 
We used to bring wood planks to help us get level, but then we bought the Lynx Levelers at Walmart -- much easier to use. They are like Lego blocks. There is another product called the Anderson leveler -- you can google it and see how it works. A lot of very savvy people say that is the best device -- we have not tried it yet.

The other trick is to apply those stick-on bubble levels (also available at Walmart) on the front and side of the trailer, so that you can see at a glance how much you need to raise one side or the other.

Most crucially, ask lots of questions! We were all newbies once, and we all remember that feeling of "what do I do know??" This forum is very newbie-friendly. You might also try RV.net -- lots of good info, but there can be a few rude people there, too. Not all, but some.
 
Does anyone know how do I use the Jensen dish on my roof is there a use for it?and a good place to bye accessories
 
I don't know about the dish -- but for accessories, you have several choices. Camping World is expensive, even if you join their card club, but they have a great selection. Walmart is much cheaper, but they have a limited selection in their RV area. Amazon is great for certain items, but returns can be tricky. E-trailer has a lot of good hardware if you have special requirements (hitch height, etc.), but shipping can be expensive (due to the weight).

Important! The very first thing you do once the trailer is parked on the campsite where you want it and it is level side to side .. is to BLOCK THE WHEELS !!

The wheels are blocked to prevent the trailer from moving forward or back - then and only then do you unhook from the tow vehicle and level the camper from front to rear.

How do I hook up

Hello all again we recentley purchased a seasonal campspot but they wanted us to us pic and hard pipe the sewer do they make a connection from the drain valve to pic??
 
I'm not a professional plumber but you might look into a Fernco fitting. They are a rubber type connector held in place with stainless steel clamps.
