Hi, I know slide issues get beat to death, but I am not sure how to get going on mine. I have a 2014 Fun Finder 276XT. After being packed away for a couple of months it is time for a trip. My slide will not go out. One side will go out about 3 inches or so and then stops because it is binding up or whatever. The other side motor is working at all. The controller is flashing 2 green, and 8 reds. Telling me that it is a short between the controller and the motor. I have a new motor and a new harness, just in case. The issue is that I cannot get the slide to move out enough to get to the motor area to properly diagnose the issue. Can someone please tell me how to get the slide to go out manually?

Thanks
Bobby

I was able to get a new up on top of the slide and hooked up a new harness to the old motor and nothing happened. I hooked a new motor the new harness and old harness and the new motor worked with both harnesses So I am fairly sure the old motor is bad. The issue is that with the slide being stuck in, I can not get to the screw to take the motor loose to replace it. I sure would appreciate any ideas of how I can get the slide out far enough to get to the motor or any suggestions of how to get the motor out with the slide out all the way in.

I had the same issue.
Ended up drilling a small hole on the outside to get to the screw and disengage the motor gear. Then pushed the slide out to gain access and replace the motor. The harness was chewed up as well.

Replaced them both as a preventative measure.
