I hung out for a few days in Colorado after the last race, and am working through Kansas. Wilson State Park is pretty awesome. I'm not used to be able to pull into a campground and pick up a spot like this on a Friday afternoon...with electric...for $20.

Yep, lovely area. Bit of warning, not sure how far east you plan to come in Kansas, but end of the month is the big "Country Stampede" music festival in Manhattan, so, camping at Tuttle Creek Lake will be either crowded or non-existing. If you go a little more east from Manhattan, you can camp at the Oregon Trail Campground in Westmoreland. ⛺

Forgot to mention, sites with full hookups are $20, water and electric only is $10-$12 depending on amp needed. You might want to call ahead and get a reservation to make sure you get a spot, especially is you come at the end of the month... I should know, I'm the city clerk nod the city owns the campground! Just don't call next week as I'll be on vacation, and wouldn't be blue to meet you!

Actually, I'll be in St. Louis tonight, but thanks for the heads-up. :)

Again, nice photos, your professional skills show. Thanks for sharing. Love the MTB shot, looks like a nice spot for morning ride. I've a similar set-up by TREK, fun exploring new trails. The overhead of the site makes me long to hit the road :)

Ha...I'm at a beautiful Camp WM (Wal-Mart) in Marshall, IL, tonight. :)

I've been there more than once... maybe the same Wally... ;) ;)

Just a thought... My wife gave me a choice of GPS's that I could get earlier this year... After much deliberation, I finally decided on the GARMIN RV-760. When going to and coming from AZ in early spring, the GPS found all my night spots (except for a couple at the end of a day and nothing close, except Wally)... Most of the finds also include contact info; I love the GPS and it is programmable for your RV, helping to keep you out of, at least most, of the bad spots and roads... :)

Just thought I would throw that in.... Have a safe trip and thank you for the update... :):):)

Having an RV-specific GPS might be the only reason I'd opt to use a GPS again. I have a car GPS on my desk at work, and look at it as a relic of a bygone era. ;)

I know what you mean... I recently bought and sent back two others before I bought and kept this one... I went ahead and threw for the Lifetime Maps and Road Construction, etc., and have been very happy with the unit... :D:D
I have tried a number of units over the years and stick to Garmin and Delorme ... I see where Garmin signed an agreement to purchase Delorme...:eek:

I have a couple Older GPs's in a drawer someplace... Hmmm, maybe I'll frame those..:rolleyes:
