Its camping season and i just finished a southwestern trip. A loop including the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert, Meteor Crater in Az, South Rim Grand Canyon, Zion NP, Bryce NP, Capital Reef NP and Great Sand Dunes NP. Unfortunately I was too late to get reservations at the NPs and stayed in commercial campgrounds.
Last fall we did a northern loop through the Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Custer State park, Devils Tower, Cody, Yellowstone, Tetons, Canyonland, Arches, Monument Valley and Palo Dura Canyon.
My next trip will be to drive somewhere and sit before taking a trip to the northwest in 2018.
