Hello,

Based in New Zealand and have just joined the forum.

We are looking at a 2008 Fun Finder X189FBS to purchase later today.

Quick question, is this model aluminum framed body or wood frame?

Wow, there's Funfinders in New Zealand? Never would have guessed that.

As for the framing I know for sure that in 2010 they had aluminum framing, but not sure when they made the switch from wooden frames. My trailer has a decal on the side that says AlumaX (or something like that) If the one you're looking has that decal then it would be aluminum frame.

According to the 2008 Manual & Specs — it is aluminum framed.

Of course, that is the walls and roof — the under-frame is steel.

We really enjoy our 2009 89FBS.
