My dad gave me his 2006 Fun Finder Shadow Cruiser. He hasn't been taking care of it he has been ill for awhile. I'm not sure of the model. I just got up and cleaned the roof and inside and there is a leak somewhere on the front and possibly on rib towards the front. How do I go about finding it and repairing it?

First thing would be to check all of the seams. Around windows, walls, vents, etc. Is the leak high up? Or around the front window? Look for areas where the sealant has pulled away and left gaps. There are a number of products available to make the repairs such as eternabond and dicor and there are youtube videos that show you how to apply it. You can get them from online retailers or from an RV dealers. Just don't use silicone, once cured nothing will stick to it so you can't make repairs on top of it and it is nearly impossible to remove.
Good luck.

I found it on the inside appears to be bottom of front window and the the first rib/stripe across the top from the front. But the place I thought might be the leak from the top is way on the other side and farther in towards the middle. Nothing where I would guess it was. I've looked at videos and ordered patch tape and lap sealer when it comes in I'll start with that on the top and move on from there. Thanks!

Pro flex should be used on the sides of an RV, Dicor on the roof. Also, the windows are installed with putty tape. Someone discovered that on their rig the putty tape was not even in contact with the trailer wall on several windows. Fun finders are notorious for having leaking front eindows. Someone even decided to remove their front window altogether!

When I was first shopping for a camper, several told me to stay away from any brand with a front window as they always tend to leak. I didn't know if they were just blowing smoke or not ~ seems some truth in the leaking front window story.
