The problem: In the dark, it is hard to see the entry steps.

The solution: Attach LED lights to the underside of camper below the door. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to go with the marker lights below instead of LED strips. These are really low profile lights that have six LED each. They are cheap and appear to be well made and water proof, however, I will probably add clear silicon where the lens meets the base. I won't be able to install them until next spring, but I've been thinking about first mounting them to some square aluminum conduit, and run the wires up to the interior porch light switch.

I was thinking that I might ad some reflective paint to the edges of the steps which would pick up the porch light, or any ambient natural light. I was having the same difficulty. :)

I put a strip of LED lights as wide as the steps to light them up in the dark.

I used a blue LED light strip ~ just enough light yet not to bright to bother anyone.
