Looked at a new Radiance yesterday

25RK. It is a bit longer than we want, but we love the way it is laid out. But we are a bit gun shy on buying a new Cruiser after all the complaints we've read, both here and other places.

We actually looked at two Radiance trailers. On the other, a different model, the plastic trim was buckled around the bedroom door and the oven was obviously put in crooked.

For those of you who have bought a new trailer recently, how did you check it out before driving off with it? Both of these were supposedly checked out and ready to pull off the lot so obviously, they missed at least 2 things that a quick walk through by us revealed.

There are a number of checklists online that you can download to use for the initial walk through. Although most of the ones I've seen would need to be tweaked a bit depending on what type of RV you buy.
Unfortunately the state of quality in the RV world today is really lacking. I don't think that Cruiser is any better or worse than most of the other brands out there. The brands that air supposed to be better, Airstream & Lance come to mind, command a premium price and still have a lot of the same issues.
IMHO a lot depends on the dealer, even more than the manufacturer. Some dealers just push them off the lot without much prep work to find and fix the issues and then don't really care about the customer after the fact. Others are more customer oriented and really check a unit out to fix the inevitable issues so the customer never sees them.
So in addition to a thorough walkthrough, do some research on the dealer as well.
