Look what I found doing my spring prep. I read a post about a leaking a/c gasket, so I thought I'd take the cover off and check. No leaks but found a loose bolt. they must put some good adhesive on those gaskets for it not to leak with only three bolts holding it down.

That's on my list to check. The cover is a little loose at the moment. I figure I'd pull it off and see if the bolts are tight while I'm at it.

I did a little shakedown cruise with my new truck (Tundra), and recently-repaired trailer to Las Vegas before I head out on the road for the summer.

Screws inaccessible

How did you get the cover off? Mine is held on to the ceiling with four screws. The screws on the two sides are very hard to reach -- they are under two little rotating plastic vent flaps. Can I remove those flaps without damaging the pivot points? I am afraid to pull on those flaps -- I have a history of breaking things by applying too much force.
