Darn, I should have shot a photo of this, but...

Now that I have a larger trailer, I can't leave it in a parking spot at work, and have to store it with a local dealer. You just call ahead to pick it up (they use a forklift to retrieve and park them). I want to leave the fridge open, it wouldn't be funky (or moldy) from the moisture inside, but wanted a way to prevent the doors from swinging shut or banging against the wall while they were moving it.

So...I took a pool noodle and cut it in half, and used piece of rope to connect the two halves. I then draped it over the top of the door. On the inside, I wedged the noodle between the fridge door and door frame, which kept it snug against the outer wall.

Sort of low-tech, but I was happy with how it turned out.

Thanks

Great low-tech and low-priced tip. Thanks for sharing.

Ours came with those plastic clips that keep the doors open about 2 inches. Good to know.

I haven't seen clips like you're talking about, but wanted to restrict movement both open and closed.

I need to figure out some kind of stop, because at full open, the handle to the bathroom door is waiting to leave in ding in the center of the metal fridge plate.

I have those clips too. I think they keep doors from opening as well as closing, bot I'm not 100% sure about that. Seem like you're fix works just as well though.
