Replaced 2 step set with a 3 step set. Original steps result in long rise from top step into the trailer. This change results in all steps rise being equal. Requires cutting and welding. Also added a larger hand rail. Bolts must go all the way through ,used an acorn nut and fender washer. Bracket covers old hand rail upper holes, filled old lower bracket bolt holes with caulk and put a NRA sticker over it.

Great mods you have been doing ! Congrats. I agree there is an issue with the 2 original steps. The issue we had was that the bottom step was almost hitting the ground and the distance between the top step and the trailer was huge. It was the 1st mod we did after buying ours, lifting the bottom step up and away from the ground by grinding off some of the parts of those steps. Problem solved and so much easier on the knees too.
