Hello everyone! We've had our little FF for about a year and a half now and really like it. It's a 2005 T139FK. I'll try to post some pictures.

Caught my better half with that "deer in the headlights" look.

Welcome! In 2005, we bought a 2003 T-139 used -- we kept it for several years and liked it so much that we bought a new X-139 in 2012. They are great little trailers for two people who get along really well in a small space. They are not for everyone, though -- some folks would find them claustrophobic!

When the wife and I first started looking, I had selected (on line) a 19' toy hauler because it was very economical and lite weight. When we actually visited a display and went inside one, the wife said no way. She is claustrophobic of/in smaller spaces so that took care of any thought of a small unit. We ended up with the XT-276 and are both pleased with our choice.

We just happened to stop in at a Used Trailer place north of us a ways and looked at what was on the lot. The manager said he had something coming in that might fit our needs. It had been raining every day and everything was muddy; the trailer owner was afraid that he might get stuck... so, we had to wait a couple weeks. The trailer turned out to be what we wanted... It is fine empty, but gets cramped real quick when I load mt ATV in; I had to hunt to find small sized ATV that had at least 400cc and 4-wheel drive!

Yes, I fully understand. Same with the unit we looked at that the wife nixed. I didn't think it was to bad empty but with the Harley loaded, impossible to use the kitchen area and no place to sit. Also any tie down straps hindered movement or access to the entrance/exit door.
I'm glad we did NOT purchase it and got a larger unit.

It can become "close" in there!:grin:
My wife and I have been friends and partners since we were teenagers and neighbors. So we really can sense when it's time to take a walk around the campground, etc.
We camped for years, still do sometimes, in our GMC camper van. It's even smaller the the 139.

Yep, Yep... be careful not to trip on the straps and you cannot get the lower galley cabinets open when the ATV is loaded... However, the ATV is not a normal haul; I take it only when on prospecting trips and my wife does not usually go on these trips...

I ended up finding a '97 Yamaha Kodiak 400 (in pretty good shape and much smaller overall than most) that just fits with enough leg room to snake by on the curb side of the ATV and I can get to the frig, stove, and bathroom... Once I get to the destination, out comes the ATV and it gets log-chained to the trailer...

I agree, larger would be more comfortable, but this one works and it is a lot easier to pull to some of the areas I go... :wink:

We actually enjoy the closest. But I will say, add two or three very active grand babies and it can be a challenge on a rainy day.

We looked for a T139 after inspecting one but then missing it on Craigslist. We wanted a small TT with a small shower/bath. We had found one in Texas and were considering it when this one popped up closer to home.
The PO had removed the rear wall and entire roof, rafters and all, and reworked it with new wood, materials and rubber roof. At first I thought "I don't know about that...". But then he had all the pictures he took during the work. After looking at the pictures and the camper, we decided we would rather have one that was already repaired. We at least know what's in the ceiling and rear wall.
So far, so good. I haven't found any problems with the work and no leaks. And the roof feels very strong.

Good choice! He may have made it better than new. We would love to take our motorcycles with us. But a larger unit is out of the question for us.

This is the interior of our little GMC cargo/camper van. This is how we camped/traveled for years, Still camp this way about half the time. We built it ourselves and it is very comfy. (there's a tiny fridge, micro and flat screen to the left of the picture)

Anyway that's why the 139 actually feels large to us.

Wow! Nice work! This looks cozy and inviting. There are a lot of pluses to keeping things small, especially with gas prices. The tiny and small house movement is alive and well as well. We undoubtably will hopefully be full timers again. If we live long enough!

Would never work for us. Heck, the wife either needs to be put out or on tranquilizers just to have a cat scan as can't tolerate 'close' spaces.

What a boring world it would be if everyone like exactly the same thing!!

Thanks for the nice words. We've had it for many years and we still have it and camp/travel in it as much as we do the Fun Finder. We have almost 312,000 miles on it and enjoy it very much. (It's still our preferred mode of transport). We camp a lot with friends, other vanners from around the country. In fact there was about 500 or so vans last July in Altamont Ill for our National Event. Our usual events around the southeast, Florida and the midwest are between 30 and 50 vans in size.
When camping/travelling in the van we are very picky about campgrounds. Nice showers and clean facilities are a must. Of course, with the Fun Finder (and hookups) we're a little more self reliant.

Eagle, I guess it's safe to say y'all aren't looking into buying a teardrop anytime soon....
We have friends that are "Tearjerkers" and they love 'em. Those are even smaller!
