Hi.

I bought a 2012 Fun Finder Xtra XT276 in February 2017. This is my very first RV.

Congratulations on your selection.

I have the same....2012 XT 276 and zero major issues, just a little tweeking here and there and some mods to my preference.

Happy camping and welcome. :D

Welcome!! Ask lots of questions -- we love to help the newbies avoid our misteaks.

Tell us about yourself -- roughly where you live, where you hope to travel, how many kids (if any), and so forth.

You will find that RVing is more fun and more work than you thought. There is a steep learning curve. Take it slow. If you are a "handy" person, that is a big plus -- something always needs fixing, on every RV ever made.

Any suggestions on LED lights, read a couple of blogs here but seeking professional advice from the group

I put some on the entry steps so easy to see at night. Purchased some on ebay that had self stick on the back side, cut to length and wired with a simple little waterproof instant on/off push button switch .. also on ebay.

The cost was far less than elsewhere that sell those RV led light kits.

Check out my post "Fun and handy things for the RV". We changed out our light fixtures for dedicated led fixtures. Warm white. About $12 each on Amazon. Also motion activated led strips that are magnetic or stick on. We put one on our steps and one on the inside of the bathroom wall. In our FF we just switched out bulbs for led. In fact we have a ton of them we won't need.

Just discovered our front window is leaking after the rain we had on the weekend and our brakes on trailer not working.Hopefully easy fixes.Eager to get camping.First trip booked for July 5 for a week.
GTK your trailer is working well.Did you ever replace the lights with LED??

I've read many times camper with a front window often suffer from water leakage...and some have removed the window entirely because of it.
